Liz Green, OTR/L has 17 years of experience working in the pediatric outpatient setting. Liz has advanced training in Sensory Integration (SIPT-C) and has extensive experience supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental and learning differences, such as anxiety, ADHD, intellectual and processing disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, to name a few. Liz has also received training in various treatment approaches including DIR Floortime, Social Thinking, and behavioral approaches (including ABA).
Liz founded Link OT based on her observations that there are few supports available in the Denver area for neurodiverse teens and adults as they move towards the most important occupations they will ever encounter, which include post-secondary education and employment.
Review of evidence-based literature affirms that there are low rates of employment among individuals with Autism and/or intellectual disabilities. Further, even when employed, work opportunities tend to be more limited, in terms of hours and job options available (Hedley et al., 2015). Liz has made it her mission to change these statistics alongside of her clients.
