Friends of Humanex Academy
Friends of Humanex Academy is a small 501 c(3) foundation with the express purpose of assisting families in paying tuition at Humanex Academy. The group’s specific mission is to provide scholarship funding so students with significant academic and emotional needs can attend Humanex Academy even if their families might not be able to afford the full tuition. The majority of the group’s fundraising goes directly to scholarships. When possible, Friends also provides additional classroom educational materials to enhance the learning environment for all students.
The board of directors of Friends of Humanex Academy includes volunteers from the community as well as Humanex staff members and parents of Humanex Academy students.
Scholarship awards are based on financial need and vary each year depending on the number of applications received and the fundraising of Friends of Humanex Academy.
The deadline for scholarships from Friends of Humanex Academy is the end of April for scholarships for the coming school year. To receive an application, please contact the school at 303-783-0137 or request one online by clicking contact us.
Alliance for Choice in Education
Humanex also encourages prospective parents to investigate the resources available through the Alliance for Choice in Education, a national organization that provides scholarships for students to attend private schools.
