Graduation & Alumni

Graduation Ceremony

Our graduation is as unique as our Admission process, our Learning Environment, and our Community of Students. Each graduating Senior selects a teacher to recount and celebrate the milestones we reached and passed together during their educational journey at Humanex. Our graduating classes may be small in size but great in what they accomplished; obtaining a high school diploma and newly gained life skills to assist them on their next steps.

Continue to celebrate the Human Experience in all you do! Please share your post-graduation story with us and other alumni.

Where are they now?

Alex Cripe (Class of 2014): I went to Metro State for five years to get my Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Currently I am looking for a job as a Certified Dietary Manager. I have a passion for clean eating and cooking so I look forward to what may come next!

Doug Spencer (Class of 2002): The years that followed my graduation from Humanex helped me to discover the real me. I am thankful for the staff and principals of Humanex Academy in providing the foundation for my immense and continued success.

Diane Smith (Class of 2002): After graduating from Oregon State University and DU Law School, I would like to take a moment to explain that college is tough. There are good days and bad days but it is the qualities within that make the individual, not institution or paper, that illustrates what you have accomplished.

A Teacher’s Greatest Reward: Bob Remillard

My greatest reward comes from seeing how proud students are at our graduation ceremonies and hearing how they are doing when they visit. All returning students have expressed gratitude that Humanex was available during a critical time in their lives. Some updates I received from parents, friends, and former students over the years include a 4.0 GPA at the end of her Sophomore year, being a top graduate of his Marine Corps Flight School, being a leading prosthesis designer, and getting accepted into a Ph.D. program or attending Law School. As a Math and Science Teacher, these are measurable objectives showing that I am making a difference.
