HUMANEX ACADEMY TUITION POLICY 2008-2009

Tuition

Tuition for the full 2008-2009 school year is $16,900.

New students must also pay a non-refundable admissions/testing fee of $350 to cover the cost of our learning styles evaluation and admission charges. Tuition includes all books and materials except for extracurricular field trips and special materials used in art classes.

Humanex Academy has open enrollment and students can be enrolled throughout the school year. Tuition is prorated based on the month in which the student enrolls. Standard enrollment is for full-time attendance.

We encourage parents to complete and return Humanex’s application before May 31, 2008. Two payment options are available and are listed below.

A tuition credit of $500 is given for parents of currently enrolled students who refer students to Humanex. The referred families must enroll at Humanex Academy, and new students must be enrolled for at least three full months. Referral credit is given at the end of each calendar semester of the school year or at the beginning of the next school year, depending on the payment method selected by the referring parent. Credits are given for a maximum of 3 referrals during a school year. A sibling discount of 20% is also available.

Options for Paying Tuition

1. Pay in full at the time of application and before the tuition discount deadline of June 30, 2008. (A discount of 5.9% applies with this option; in these circumstances, tuition will be approximately $15,900 for the 2008-2009 school year.)

2. Sign up for FACTS and choose one of several payment schedules, including twice yearly payments, or monthly payments. (See enclosed information.)

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Every Humanex student is enrolled on a yearly basis and there will be no guaranteed reduction of the annual tuition fee for the withdrawal or dismissal of a student during the school year, nor is there a reduction in fee for absences. Parents and guardians are responsible for the full year’s tuition without default. Fulfillment of the full year’s tuition is required upon withdrawal or dismissal of a student for any reason. Any exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of Humanex Academy’s Director and Educational Services of America. In addition, a $500 fee for early withdrawal will be assessed.

Open Enrollment

While Humanex Academy does follow a regular school calendar, a student can be admitted at any time during the year. This open enrollment policy allows parents to move their students to an environment where they can be successful at any point.

Tuition is pro-rated depending on a student’s start date.
